A luscious and elegant red blend from the Barossa Valley region. Nose: Bold dark fruit aromas. Palate: A complex and harmonious mix of blackberry, blackcurrant and redcurrant flavours with a long juicy finish. Reviews: Deep ruby core. There is a significant oak signature on this wine. Aromas of crème brulée / vanilla work together with fruit notes of black jubey confectionary and black berry sherbet. The palate shows a step up in tannin quality and quantity from the previous wine . There are blueberry notes that are both stewed and raw. The oak is more integrated on the palate than on the nose. It comes through as a saw-dusty note on the palate. More structurally complete and balanced in weight. The tannins are broad and though it is drinkable now, the wine will benefit with food and bottle age.
